At times, large crowds, poor parking. (5th to 14th street). Lincoln Road: A recently renovated out-door walking mall. shops and dining. Easy parking. Adjacent to Convention center. (17th street) 41 Street: Local business district with shops and restaurants. North Beach: A completely renovated area along the ocean with shops, restaurants and a handful of mostly Deco Hotels. Close to South Beach without the hassles of crowds and parking. (72nd to 75th street on the ocean) Surfside: Oceanfront hotels/motels and condos. Nice community, easy access. (87th to 95th street) Bal Harbor shops: Up-scale shopping mall.(96th street) Haulover Park: Large public beach, surfing (on those rare days when there are waves), fishing boats, paddle boat rentals, kites, par 3 golf.
